Brighton Collectibles Brings Power of Pink to Bosom Buddies

Detta and Danielle, from Brighton Collectibles in the Annapolis Mall, vistied the Bosom Buddies Ball committee to introduce a very special limited edition bracelet in support of the charity.  This year’s bracelet features a dangling heart-shaped charm with pave crystals in pink hues on one side and the signatrue pink ribbon on the reverse.

Brighton has been supporting breast cancer charities for almost a decade with over $3.9 million in donations.  The company will contribute $10 to Bosom Buddies charities for each $50 bracelet sold by October 31.  The bracelets can be purchase a thte Brighton Collectible store in the Annapolis Mall.

Brighton’s found and owner, Jerry Kohl, explains the sentiment behind the promotion: “We’re proud that we’ve walked the walk and talked the talk, and that again this year we will be giving $500,000 to breast cancer charities while most larger companies do no contribute as much.  With our wonderful customers who support our Power of Pink campaign, we are helping to fund the sure that we hope will come soon!”

Breast cancer strikes not just the elderly and middle-aged but thousands in their 20s and 30s.  Last year over 260,000 women and 1,900 men were newly diagnosed.  With increased awareness and early detection, since 1990 death rates have decreased by about 2% each year.
