Wye River Design Studio in Grasonville is excited to offer three summer camps to let small imaginations create big things!
Camps will run for 4 days and last 2 hours a day. Each camp will have a specific creative theme. Collage and mix media session will run from June 25-28th and will let children explore a variety of different material to help them create their own masterpiece. A jewelry class, where kids will design and decorate their own clay pendant, will take place July 9-12. Wrapping up the trio will be a Funky Mosaics class from July 23-26th.
While there is no specific age limits, children must be able to sit through a 2 hour class. Owner Candace Liccione says that the average age group for these types of classes is 4-12.
If your little one isn’t able to attend a camp, Wye River offers “Mommy and Me” classes where children as young as two can get involved in creative crafts. No kids at all? Let Wye River host a unique bridal shower, or girls night out. And don’t worry if you think you’re not creative. They specialize in beginners and can help you create something that is unique and useful, such as mosaic house number plaques, or beautifully decorated art canvass perfect for wall display.
More information on the studio and camps can be found at www. wyeriverdesigns.com or by calling 410-827-0700. Pre-registration and a deposit are required for camps.
