Calling All Kids!

Hey kids, want to create your very own awesome cartoon characters like Pokémon, Astro Boy, and Sailor Moon? Now’s your chance to have fun while learning one of the most popular art forms of our day. Register for KIFA’s Saturday morning Anime and Chibi Japanese cartoon drawing class beginning Saturday, September 22 through October 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. In three Saturdays, you’ll learn various techniques from artist and illustrator Hanna Kingsley, who has lots of ideas for you to develop your own stories through cartoon images.

For ages 8 – 18. Space is limited so register now online at www.kifa.us/classes or by calling the Kent Island Federation of Arts at 410-643-7424. Registration must be made in advance. $75 members/ $100 non members. $5 material fee to instructor.
