Queen Anne’s Chorale will start its’ 31st Spring season on January 6th at Christ Church Kent Island with an Open Rehearsal and is reaching out to welcome new voices. All voice parts are welcome to join at the Open Rehearsal. The Chorale is comprised of singers of all levels of experience from concert to shower soloists. The non-tryout policy lends to the relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoys as they learn their musical parts. The Spring Season concludes with a Spring Concert, From Stage and Screen, on April 18th. There are two community service concerts scheduled close to the April 18th concert date.
“We just finished our Fall season” stated Robert Huntington, Artistic Director. “It was a wonderful Holiday Concert. Spring will be even better with excerpts from Stage and Screen. Also, we have the privilege to have Thomas Beard perform as well”. The Open Rehearsal will start at 6:30pm at Christ Church Kent Island located on Romancoke Road with a chance to meet and greet and end at 8:30 with a reception. Normal rehearsals are every Monday from 7-9pm. The Chorale is pleased to announce that Julia Morris-Myers is the new accompanist. For more information, go to www.qachorale.org.
