The staff from the Shore Regional Cancer Center has gone “pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month of October, the Shore Regional Cancer Center, located at 501 Idlewild Avenue, has outfitted all of its external lighting with pink colored gels over its lights, creating a pink hue from the building. Staff also adorned the outside of the building with pink ribbons.
As part of their ongoing efforts to increase awareness about breast cancer, the Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has set up a website – www.lightmarylandpink.com – to highlight communities and landmarks that have “gone pink” for the month.
