Candlelight Remembrance Service Set for November 20

Families and friends of those whose loved one has died in the past year are invited to join Hospice of Queen Anne’s staff and volunteers for the annual Candlelight Remembrance Service on Sunday, November 20, 5 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish in Centreville.

This special non-denominational service allows families of hospice patients and community members to remember and celebrate the life of their loved one who has died. During the service, candles will be lit in memory of loved ones and the altar will be decorated with cards, each with the name of the individual being remembered.

This year’s remembrance ornament features a white clay bisque angel holding a heart. Ornaments may be purchased at the service for $16 each or two for $30.  Pre-ordering ornaments is recommended as the supply may be limited.

To RSVP for the service or pre-order an ornament, call Rhonda Knotts at 443-262-4109 or e-mail rknotts@hospiceofqueenannes.org.
