The merging of two counties into one annual County Fair to serve as a showcase for agricultural life, a means of educating children and young people of the importance of the profession of farming, including the handling of animals from birth to market, the growth, preparation and preservation of foods and the creativity of home art skills. Featured events include Little Princess, Princess & Queen Contests, Dress a Goat Contest, Greased Pig Contest, Kiss a Pig Contest, Baby Contest, Tots Show, Horticulture Judging Contest, Pet Show, Livestock Show, Carnival Rides & games, Kid’s activities, Jousting Tournament, Car Show, live music, food, and more.
