CASA of Queen Anne’s & Kent County will host a dinner theater on Thursday, June 17, at Church Hill Theater. Attendees will enjoy a catered dinner, a special performance of OLIVER!, and dessert and coffee during intermission. The event is sponsored by Ride Entertainment, which is headquartered in Stevensville. Ride Entertainment is a leader in providing thrill rides to the amusement industry.
OLIVER! tells the engaging story of the orphan who first becomes a thief, then is united with his rich grandfather, only to fall under the clutches of those who wish to use him for their own fortunes.
Tickets are $70 per person and can be purchased online at www.casaqackent.org or by calling Polly Newell at 410-758-2664.
Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA Queen Anne’s and Kent Counties, whose mission is to advocate for the best interests of children who are under the protection of the court because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are appointed by the Circuit Court judge to serve as the voice in court for children in need.
