CBMM Names Jennifer Kuhn Boatyard Program Manager

CBMM_KuhnJenn_2013 (266 x 400)Jennifer Kuhn of Oxford, MD has been named Boatyard Program Manager at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels, MD.

Kuhn’s responsibilities include managing and facilitating CBMM’s Apprentice for a Day public boatbuilding program, as well as a series of educational and on-the-water programs centered on woodworking and the maritime traditions of the Chesapeake Bay.

Kuhn joined CBMM as a shipwright apprentice in 2011. She holds an applied science degree from Seattle Central Community College’s marine carpentry program and a BA in fine arts and education from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD.

“Jenn has a great ability to connect with visitors and participants at every skill and age level,” said CBMM’s Assistant Director of Watercraft Richard Scofield. “Her talents and skills translate well to the job. We’re lucky to have her as staff.”
