CBMM Offers New Member Events

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD, is offering new members-only special events this summer.

On Friday, July 8 from 5-7pm, museum members are invited to “Small Boat Sailing,” where they can take a JY sailboat out with the Museum’s sailing instructor for a 30 minute basic sailing overview. No experience necessary and all ages are welcome. Advanced reservations are required by July 5, with space limited. On Friday, August 12 from 4-6pm, museum members are invited to bring children ages 8-12 to learn hands-on about the crabbing industry in the museum’s “Crab Cakes Program.” Advanced reservations are required by August 10 with space limited. The museum offers memberships at varying levels, with benefits including free general admission, free or reduced admission to general events, store discounts, reciprocal entry to other museums, special events, boat docking privileges and more.
