Centreville Winter Farmers’ Market & Holiday Artisans Shop Accepting Vendor Applications; Vendor Open House Set For Thursday, November 21

Area traditional farmers and value-added producers as well as craft artisans now have another way to get their products to market thanks to an innovative Main Street project which will take open commercial space and turn it into a winter holiday market. The storefront, located at 114 B Water Street in downtown Centreville, will open Black Friday, November 29, with a special shopper’s reception with free refreshments from 3 to 7 p.m. The market will run through Saturday, December 28.

The Centreville Winter Farmers’ Market & Holiday Artisans shop will be open three days a week from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Vendor fees are based on two day per week space reservations. However, one day per week and single date vendor fees are available. Seasonal Centreville Farmers Market vendors can reserve space at a special rate.

Vendor applications are currently available by contacting Carol D’Agostino, Centreville Main Street manager, at (410) 758-1180, ext. 17 or mainstreet@townofcentreville.org. Winter market manager Jessica McCarthy Sellers and D’Agostino will host a vendor open house on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Vendors will have an opportunity to ask questions, solicit feedback, and submit a vendor application and payment. Space is limited. Craft artisans should bring a selection of their crafts to the vendor open house for consideration.
