Chesapeake Women’s Network – Queen Anne’s County Chapter recently awarded $7,400 to local women looking to advance their education. CWN firmly believes in helping women improve their condition and their financial future through higher education. On June 14, 2012 an awards ceremony was held at Chesapeake College to recognize the seven recipients and their various accomplishments. These women are working extremely hard to complete their degrees so that they are better able to support themselves and their families. We as an organization are so very proud to be able to assist in those endeavors and we are grateful for all of those who generously donated to our organization to help make this all possible.
