Children to Step Inside Giant Bubbles at KI Library

On Friday, November 1 at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., the Kent Island Branch of the Queen Anne’s County Free Library welcomes Margie Lynch, better known as “The Bubble Lady,” who presents a 45-60 minute show for children of all ages.

Highlights of the show include giant bubbles (up to 5 feet in diameter), long bubbles (up to 18 feet long), and smoke bubbles (made with dry ice and hot water). Audience members are invited to hold smoke bubbles and blow giant bubbles to the ceiling. The finale includes putting audience members inside a giant bubble.

Lynch has performed at numerous public libraries in Maryland and was mentioned in John Kelly’s column in the Washington Post when she performed at the Ocean City Library.

The program is free of charge and made possible by a donation from the Sinsky-Kresser-Racusin Memorial Foundation. No registration is required.

The library is located at 200 Library Circle in Stevensville, MD. For more information about library events and services, please contact the library at (410) 643-8161 or visit the website at www.quan.lib.md.us.
