The Queen Anne’s County Free Library welcomes award-winning children’s musician Bruce Fite to the Kent Island Branch Library at 10:30 a.m. and the Centreville Library at 2:30 p.m on Wednesday, June 23 for his “Make a Splash” concert.
Fite’s debut album “Don’t Put Your Cat in the Washing Machine” combines country-bluegrass, pop, rock, folk, and other genres.
The concert is recommended for children from ages 3-8 and their families. The event is free of charge, and no registration is required.
Fite won the Children’s Music Web Award for Best New Artist for Young Children in 2006. He has performed at Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland and teaches K-5 music in northern Maryland.
