The Maryland Citizens’ Health Initiative is touring the state touting the availability of federal health care credits for small businesses. Employers who have fewer than 25 employees who earn less than $50,000 per year are eligible. The coalition has already paid a visit to Baltimore City and Charles, Frederick and Wicomico counties to spread the word. So far, more than 100 small businesses are now taking advantage of the credits that they previously had no idea existed.
