CNA of the Mid-Shore Award to Be Announced

Planning CNA Recognition Day 2013 (400 x 347)The annual Nursing Assistant Recognition Day and Award Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 12:30pm – 2:30pm, at the William Hill Manor. The winner of the 2013 “CNA of the Mid-Shore” award will be announced during the event. All employers of Nursing Assistants can nominate a CNA who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to healthcare, compassion for others, leadership skills, work ethic, professionalism and team work. Each nursing assistant nominated will receive recognition. Keynote speaker for the day is Robin Seal-Whitlock, RN, Ph.D. and Sherry Councell, BSN, RN, HNB-BC, HSMI, will provide a demonstration of stress relief for self-care.

Area businesses contributing to this event are: Mabel’s Bakery, Suicide Bridge Restaurant, Ashley Furniture, Layton’s Chance, Olive Garden, Applebees, Target, Homestead Manor, Diane’s Designs, and Elijah Blue Salon. A raffle basket, to raise funds for the program, will be raffled off the day of the event.

Refreshments will be served and pre-registration is required. Registration fee is $10.00.
