Come Share Your Patriotic Spirit with the Chesapeake Bay Community Band As the Summer Free Concert Series Continues
The 2014 “Thursdays in the Park” Free Concert Series opened June 26th at the Kent Island Yacht Club to a record crowd with the Chris Sacks Band. “The weather, the venue, and the band were a perfect match. We were thrilled with the broad appeal and the enthusiasm of the crowd. It was great to see the community come together for a relaxing evening that appealed to everyone; we even had a game or two of Duck, Duck, Goose” Executive Director, Belinda Cook stated.
We continue the series on July 10th at the Court House Square in Centreville. Join us for a night of patriotic themed music with the Chesapeake Bay Community Band. The band performs throughout the region delighting audiences with marches, classic concert band literature, and Broadway favorites. American flags and a patriotic spirit are welcome!

With deep roots here on the Shore; they deliver a well-paced energetic show with a variety of material that will appeal to everyone! Come enjoy the picturesque setting and be ready to dance!
