Community Association Forms in Support of Queen Anne’s Emergency Center

The Queen Anne’s Emergency Center (QAEC) Community Association has joined the Memorial Hospital Association and Dorchester General Hospital Community Association as the third official group affiliated with Shore Health System’s family of community associations. The QAEC Community Association is comprised of residents of Queen Anne’s County who are interested in access to healthcare for the local community as well as activities surrounding the QAEC’s continued success.

“The Queen Anne’s Emergency Center has filled a void for us in providing quality emergency medical care to county citizens and we look forward to providing comments and feedback to Shore Health about the Center,” says Kathy Deoudes, a Queen Anne’s County resident who was instrumental in forming the association. “It is my hope that Shore Health will involve association members in meaningful dialogue regarding the Center and advance our common goal of having top notch medical care for Queen Anne’s citizens.”
