Community Sale Set for October 8 in Centreville Armory Building

The Wye River Upper School Parents Association is hosting a community rummage sale on Saturday, October 8, 7:30 am-12:30 pm in the old Armory Building on Commerce Street in Centreville. The building, which is the future home of Wye River Upper School, will be open for business with parents and students selling all manner of housewares, electronics, toys, clothing, furniture, etc., as well as a refreshments and other items sold by vendors and crafters.

According to WRUS parent Blanca Callahan proceeds from this sale will benefit WRUS’ financial aid funds. “People will find  great deals and also get a chance to see how the building will be transformed into the school’s new home,” says Callahan.
