The music program of Wye Parish is preparing for a concert celebration, Thanks Be To God!, an evening of uplifting and worshipful music.

Friday, May 10th, at Old Wye Church will be a performance of choral music featuring the programs of the parish and the Wye Conservatory of Music.  Joining together will be the parish choir, Wye Choral Scholars, Wye Youth Chorale, and hand bells, led by Director Bonnie Forgacs, and Assistant Director, Amy Morgan.  Also accompanying the ensembles will be flautist, Betty Montgomery.  Wye Parish has fostered growth in its music program alongside the Wye Conservatory of Music, and offers ensembles for singers of all ages.  Thanks Be To God! is a program that celebrates their efforts and giving of their talents to the Lord.  The concert will take place in the historically charming, Old Wye Church, built in 1721, at 14114 Old Wye Mills Rd., Wye Mills, MD, at 7:30 pm.  This event is FREE and handicap accessible.  There will be a reception to follow the performance in the Parish Hall.
