SIGN LANGUAGE – EMERGENCY SIGNS
For Law Enforcement, Medical Staff
and First Responders
In American Sign Language, the gestures for “shoot” and “speed” are similar.  But for first responders, the difference between those two words is critical in an emergency situation that demands clear communication.  This course provides first responders with the basic signs they will need to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing people in emergency situations
