DGH Auxiliary Recognizes Volunteers

Volunteers from the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary were recently honored for achieving service milestones. Twenty-one Auxiliary members received awards for their lifetime hours of service with a combined 4,630 hours of service.

Lee Boyce and Sue Murrell topped the list with 7,000 hours. Recognized for 6,000 hours of service were Carole Kramer and Yoshi Smith; Mildred Lewis for 5,000 hours; and Janet Lawrence, Suzanne Press and Charlotte Wheatley for 3,000 hours.

Other honorees were Alexandria Snell and Virginia Stine for 2,000 hours; JoAnn Dixon, Pat Hurley and Laura Schultz for 1,000 hours; Pat Allen, Debbie Asmussen, El Doris Graham and Pamela Pinder for 500 hours; and Pat Dean, Lucy Phillips, Gloria Smith and Jeannie Wroten for 250 hours.

“Our volunteers are truly the backbone of this organization and we are so grateful for all that they do to help us to carry out our mission of providing exceptional care, every day,” says Patti Willis, Senior Vice President for External Relations, Communications and Marketing for Shore Health.
