Dine, Wine and Network at the Leadership for Women Conference

Boomer Babes Steps (252 x 400)Dining, wine-ing, and networking are a big part of the day at the Leadership for Women Conference May 3rd. Attendees will continue discussions over lunch at four Easton restaurants: Bartlett Pear, Scossa, Banning’s Tavern and Martini’s. At 3:30 it is off to the new Lanham Hall for wine and windup.

“You won’t sit around at this conference,” says Shar McBee, bestselling author and co-chair of the event. “In addition to fantastic speakers on the theme of ‘Reinventing Yourself’ we have chair yoga, verbal aikido exercises, and speed dating-type networking sprinkled throughout the day.”

The 2 Boomer Babes, who reinvented themselves by creating a spirited local radio show in Easton which has now spread nation-wide, are the keynote speakers. The lively duo, Kathy Bernard and Barbara Kline will share how they did it. Women who have been successful in the business and nonprofit sectors will share their secrets to success, including Wendy Palmer, owner of Latitude and The Masthead restaurants, Elizabeth Devlin of Pageturners, and Brandy Reece, career expert at the United States Senate and winner of the Funniest Fed contest.

The conference will be held at the Historical Society Auditorium in Easton and proceeds will provide scholarships to Chesapeake College. Register online: www.LeadershipforWomenConference.com
