Chestertown Police confirmed an armed robbery at the Dollar General store on Washington Avenue last week. A white male entered the store in the morning, showed a handgun and demanded money. Word is less than $1,000 was taken. The suspect has not been apprehended, but there is surveillance video and other police have been notified.
