Robert P. Carrillo, MD, has joined Shore Surgical Care as a general surgeon in practice with Kevin Stitely, MD, Brooke Buckley, MD, and Jerry Batley, MD.

Dr. Carrillo earned a medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed an internship and residency at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. He comes to the Eastern Shore from San Diego, California, where he was a staff surgeon and professor of surgery at the Naval Medical Center.  He has served his country as a surgeon in the Navy for more than twenty years.

Dr. Carrillo, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has privileges to practice at the Memorial Hospital at Easton and Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge.
