Q. William Gai, MD, PhD, is a member of the Shore Health System medical staff. Dr. Gai practices at Bay Hematology and Oncology and has privileges at the Memorial Hospital at Easton and Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge.

Dr. Gai graduated from Shandong Medical University in China. He completed an internship and residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Maryland Medical Center through the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He earned a doctor of philosophy in molecular and cell biology at Ohio University.

Dr. Gai is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
