This March, Easton Middle School invites you to join them in the search for golden tickets as it presents Ronald Dahl’s Willy Wonka. This two-act musical follows Charlie Bucket (Mitchell Lantz) on his unlikely adventure to meet the mysterious Willy Wonka (Maya Thomas). Life is horrible for the Bucket family. Charlie’s father, Mr. Bucket (Jeremy Wolfberg) has lost his job and now there is no income to support his household that includes his wife (Emily Wittman) and Charlie’s four grandparents Grandpa Joe (Erik Bell), Grandma Josephine (Eve Van Horn), Grandpa George (Jonah Sanders), and Grandma Georgina (Katelynn Cherry). At the chocolate factory, Charlie is accompanied by his Grandpa Joe and meets the other children who have been “fortunate” enough to find a ticket. These include, the always eating Agustus Gloop (Josiah Sanders) and his mother (Alex Lankford), the electronics addict Mike Teevee (Walter Morris) and his mother (Deirdre Gallagher), the gum-smacking Violet Beauregarde (Sarah Daly) and her mother (Elizabeth Daly), and the spoiled brat Veruca Salt (Alanah Filion) and her father (Lukas McGee). The rest of the cast is rounded out with students from Easton Middle School and Easton High School, as well as students from Chapel, Easton, and White Marsh Elementary Schools.
