Educare Fund in the Foundation for Community Partnerships

The Educare Fund in the Foundation for Community Partnerships is pleased to announce limited funding for early childhood programs. Our mission is to support programming in Queen Anne’s County for young children and their families that promotes child and family wellbeing and/or enhances school readiness. The Educare committee was started by our county’s Local Management Board, Community Partnerships for Children and Families, to help early childhood programs provide quality care for our youngest citizens.

Requests can be made for curriculum costs, materials, implementation of a new program (such as hygiene, nutrition, anti-bullying, literacy) or even to defray costs of an instructor in the program. Programs must be based in Queen Anne’s County serving our communities’ young children and their families. An application form can be requested from Jacki Carter or Cindi Boone at 410-758-6677. Directions for mailing the completed forms are on the Application Form. Decisions are made by the Educare Selection Committee and approved by the Foundation for Community Partnerships Board.

Anyone wishing to donate to the Educare Fund should make checks out to Foundation for Community Partnerships with Educare in the memo line. Mail checks to FCP, 102 Chester Village, Chester, MD 21619. Or go to www.creatinglegacies.org and click on the donate button for Educare.

Our children are important to our future.
