The daughter of a woman treated in the Memorial Hospital Emergency Department recently nominated the care team as Everyday Heroes.

In the note that accompanied her donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation, the donor said, “Upon arrival in the ED I found (my mother) to be acutely ill, and in great care. I can say that my mother is alive today because of the care and team work of this great staff.”

The Everyday Hero Program gives patients and their families an opportunity to honor a Shore Health System physician, staff member or volunteer by making a financial donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation. The Foundation uses these gifts to support Shore Health System in providing health care services and programs throughout the Mid-Shore region.
