Emergency Services Training on March 30 in Centreville

Next Thursday, March 30, don’t be alarmed if you see a large amount of emergency vehicles at the County Office building located at 110 Vincit Street.

This training exercise for our first responders will be conducted from 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Although all our county offices will remain open for business, make sure to give yourself extra time if you are planning to stop by on Thursday morning.

“Training for our first responders is an important aspect of how we prepare for any emergency that may affect Queen Anne’s County.” said Scott Haas, Director of Emergency Services “Although training happens daily, we don’t often train in person with our partners, and we want to make sure the public is aware and not alarmed.”

Our Vincit Building is located across the street from Acme in Centreville and hosts several agencies; The Board of Elections, Planning and Zoning, Information & Communications Technology which includes our QACTV and Public Information Divisions.
