Enhanced Recreational Facilities Unveiled at Sudlersville Park

Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation announces the completion of a series of upgrades and additions to Sudlersville Park, a recreational hub located in the northern portion of our county. The renovation project, which commenced in late August, has introduced several improvements to Sudlersville Park. These enhancements not only add to Sudlersville Park’s amenities but also mark a significant expansion of recreational opportunities for the entire community. The key highlights of the renovation include the installation of a brand-new futsal court and a new basketball court. Additionally, two dedicated pickleball courts and a renovated tennis court have been added to the park’s offerings. One of the most exciting developments is the introduction of Queen Anne’s County’s very first futsal court. Complete with lighting, fencing, and goals, this court provides an exclusive space for futsal enthusiasts to enjoy this soccer-based sport played on a hard-court surface reminiscent of a basketball court. Sudlersville Park is nestled on 36.5 scenic acres and located at 200 East Main Street in Sudlersville. In addition to the upgraded sports facilities, the park also provides multipurpose fields for soccer and lacrosse, baseball/softball diamonds, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts. Patrons can also take advantage of the park’s amenities, which include a one-mile paved walking trail, a playground, a picnic area equipped with grills, and a reservable pavilion for special occasions. For more information about Sudlersville Park or any other county parks, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 410-758-0835.
