Learn to Knit with Janet Pfeffer

2/6, 2/13, 2/20/14 THURSDAY  2:30pm-3:30pm  (3 – 1 hour classes)
Start-up knitting; spend 3 hours acquiring or remembering the basics of knitting. You will practice casting on, casting off, and the knit stitch – and be able to make a scarf!  Plus, you will learn to purl, needles and scrap yarn provided or bring your own. Jewelry Making Intensive with Sue Stockman

2/14, FRI 6:00pm -8:30pm ; 2/15, SAT 9:00am-3:30pm; 2/16, SUN 10:00am-1:00pm
Member: $200 Nonmember: $215
No experience necessary, individuals will be able to complete beautiful, original pieces of jewelry during this weekend with Sue Stockman and Bobby Malzone. This class will explore various jewelry-making techniques including setting cabochon stones, sawing & soldering metal. There will be an additional cost for fine metals. 2/17 MONDAY 12-1 pm Donation: $5 per session

Bring your laptop and a bag lunch while we discuss those pesky challenges using  Microsoft Word and other MS applications. Together we’ll find steps to empowerment and serenity as we master a few of those challenges that pop up when no one is around to help (and the idea of calling Tech support is just too daunting). Quilting a T-shirt Quilt with Janet Pfeffer

2/22/14 SATURDAY 10:00am-1:00pm Suggested Donation/Investment: $25 

Do you have at least 9 t-shirts that you can’t part with?? You can transform them into a cozy laprobe?  Here’s how! Join Janet and you will receive written directions, cut out the t-shirt squares, and begin to design the layout. To complete the quilt, you will need a sewing machine and the patience to do large stitch hand quilting, or you can work a deal with the instructor to complete the quilt for you. Reiki I with Dell St. Ana
2/23 SUNDAY 10:30a-6:30 pm  Tuition $145
This day-long workshop will provide you with everything you need to become a Reiki practitioner. You will learn the history of Reiki, basic physical and energy anatomy, and the hand positions used to give a complete Reiki treatment to yourself and others. You will also receive the attunements that establish you as a channel for healing. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be given a personalized certificate that verifies your training and qualifies you to practice Reiki.
