On Friday, November 27, at 10:30 a.m. in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, and again at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Michaels branch, Mark Jaster will perform “Piccolo’s Trunk,” a comic program in pantomime for the whole family.
Jaster, who trained with the twentieth century masters Marcel Marceau and Étienne Decroux, combines live music, outrageous acrobatics, and hyper-advanced communication skills with honest, gentle humor, and playful interaction to remove many a skeptic’s antipathy toward mime. The Washington Post has called him a “clown extraordinaire and one of the most graceful performers you will ever see on a stage.”
Free tickets are required to attend this program. Free tickets will be available beginning November 20 at either the Easton or St. Michaels branch. (Note: Patrons cannot reserve tickets by telephone.) This program is supported by the Friends of the Talbot County Free Library.
