For a second time, the Feds have pushed back the environmental assessment report for the proposed federal training facility in Ruthsburg (FASTC). The new deadline is August 1. The assessment is a crucial part of the picture, as it would inform residents as to how building and maintaining the center would affect their day-to-day lives. Many residents do not mind the center coming to Queen Anne’s County, just not to Ruthsburg.
