Feel the Vibe at Millstream Park

Hot weather calls for hot music and D’Vibe andConga will heat up the stage at Millstream Park in Centreville, Maryland on August 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. As part of the free summer concert series, Thursdays in the Park, this popular area band brings island sounds, rock classics, reggae, and even Irish music. Their latest CD “Load Me Up” is available on their website dvibeandconga.com.

Founding member Herbie Wheatley plays vocals, flute, sax, clarinet, and percussion for the band who started up in 1991. Wheatley is joined by Mac Daddy on bass, Dr. X-Ray on guitar and vocals and Jess McQuay on drums and vocals. They perform throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, frequently in Annapolis and Baltimore as well as private parties and weddings.
