Karate– offers a solid introduction to fundamental techniques such as kicks, blocks, rolls and punches. Instructors place heavy emphasis on building self-esteem and confidence while teaching martial arts basics. This class allows students to socialize and learn valuable leadership skills. MMA – currently the most popular form of martial arts combines the skills from kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, and ju-jitsu. Whether you want to get a great workout or are interested in competition, knowledgeable instructors provide a safe environment to learn these essential skills. Tai Chi – Is a soft style form that is perfect for seniors. It is acknowledged that focusing the mind solely on the movements of the form helps to bring about a state of mental calm and clarity.
