Queen Anne’s County’s popular youth Flag Football League will be returning to the Matapeake School Complex on Sunday afternoons in September.

Teams will begin pre-season practices in August. Once games begin in September, no practices will be held. Boys and girls ages 4-14 are welcome to sign up for one of three conferences: the Island Conference for pre-kindergarten through first grades, the Bay Conference for second through fourth grades, and the Matapeake Conference for fifth through eighth grades. No travel is required and no equipment is needed. All games will be held at the Matapeake School Complex. The cost to register is $70.

New this year, the Recreation Department is also offering a Flag Football Cheerleading League for boys and girls ages 4-14. Practices will begin in August and teams will cheer at flag football games beginning in September. The cost to register is $70.
