The FLOWER & FLEA MARKET FESTIVAL taking place on Saturday, May 7th from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Elks Lodge on Dutchmans Lane in Easton will provide a variety of activities for all ages. The Festival is to benefit Talbot Partnership for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention.
The Festival will offer an assortment of flowers and plants: annuals and perennials, hanging baskets, cut flowers, geraniums, flats of annuals – just in time for Mother’s Day. There will be more than 20 flea market tables, and the event will be held rain or shine.
The Festival will also feature foods and baked goods; educational exhibits; a Chinese and silent auction; games, rides, and Mother’s Day activities for children; and a raffle for a Grand Prize – an XBox and Kinect, valued at $400. The Grand Prize is sponsored by the Mike Marcell Memorial Fund.
Games and entertainment for kids include a Moon Bounce and a game theater that offers an exciting place for gamers to play all the hottest games like Guitar Hero, Madden Football, Wii Sports, and much more.

Talbot Partnership, through its coalition, encourages the community to recognize the problems and implement solutions related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse by implementing policies, promoting early intervention programs and building a culture that favors a healthy, safe and drug-free community.
