Former QACPS Superintendent Named to Interim School Role

The Maryland State Board of Education announced that Bernard Sadusky will assume the role of interim state superintendent of schools effective July 1 following the retirement of Nancy Grasmick. Grasmick announced earlier this year that she is retiring June 30 after two decades on the job. Sadusky served as superintendent of the Queen Anne’s school system from 1994 to 2007. Since retiring, he has served as a policy liaison to local school systems for the state Department of Education.
