Free Concerts Start June 9

Thursdays in the Park, the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s free concert series begins the second week in June with a performance by the Chesapeake Bay Community Band.  Formed in 1994, the band performs throughout the region delighting audiences with marches, classic concert band literature and Broadway favorites.

Under the skillful direction of conductor Fred Hughes, the band has evolved into a professional level group, who are sought after for special events and concerts year-round.
