The Holidays are upon us! Many of us describe this season as the “most wonderful time of the year.” Unfortunately this doesn’t hold true for everyone. The Holidays may become a time of mourning and grief for those who have lost a loved one during these months or this year. As a friend or family member of grieving individuals we often are unsure how to help.

Presenter Ryan Helfenbein will address many frequently asked questions regarding the topic of helping others cope with the holiday season. Topics of discussion will include:
How to help a friend / family member through the Holiday season
What to say when you see the friend or family member
Determine which modern means of therapy may be acceptable to them
How to help a family with young children
Keeping a friend / family member active and involved during the Holidays
