Too busy to carve out time for a yoga class, but wish you could enjoy many of the benefits on-the-go?
Paulette Florio of The Studio, a yoga, dance and t’ai chi learning center in St. Michaels, will offer a free demonstration from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 13, at The Studio, 933 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels (St. Michaels Business Park, #14). R.S.V.P. by calling 410-924-2443.
Participants will learn how to relieve stress and tension in the neck, shoulders and spine and to promote good posture. No yoga experience is required, and all levels of fitness are welcome.
“The perfectly fit yoga students you see in photos often didn’t start out fit. Many originally come to class looking for a way out of pain and stress,” says Florio. “If you’re having pain after everyday activities like walking, driving or getting out of bed, think about tuning into rather than away from your body.”
