EVERY life is precious! Caroline County Humane Society (CCHS), in conjunction with Animal Resource Foundation (ARF), is reaching out to the community with a plea for help for poor “DIESEL,” a 112 lb. Doberman Pinscher with cropped ears that needs urgent medical care.
On 1/27/12 a CCHS officer responded to a call for a dog bleeding from the mouth (as seen in this photo). Diesel, who had been found as a stray, was indeed found to be bleeding from the mouth so he was turned over to the shelter. He was then rushed to the local vet’s office to have a growth surgically removed from his mouth. It took approximately 1½ hours to get the bleeding to stop. Unfortunately, it has now started again. We have been informed that he will need an emergency blood transfusion as part of his treatment. We knew we needed to put out a plea for help immediately!
Will you open your heart and make a donation for this sweet boy? Your donation will be used entirely to cover his vet bills and urgent medical care – funds that are sorely needed. All excess funds will remain in “Diesel’s Fund,” which will be ear-0marked as a medical fund for emergency surgeries in cases such as Diesel’s. Donations can be sent to “Caroline County Humane Society” at 407 West Bell Street, Ridgely, MD 21660, or to “Animal Resource Foundation” at P.O. Box 396, Chester, MD 21619. Please indicate “For Diesel”. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We know there are guardian angels out there waiting to help Diesel and we thank you in advance for giving him the chance at life that he truly deserves!
