Looking to escape somewhere warm? The Gunston School is hosting its annual fundraiser on March 2nd and welcomes the community to attend. Every dollar raised at this event supports programming for the faculty and students. The theme “Island Fever” invites guests into a tropical environment with live Caribbean music from Steel Pan Jam and island-inspired food stations and drinks. Numerous auction items are available—including domestic and international vacation rentals for those really looking to escape to the tropics—and attendees may enter to win an iPad mini during the “Heads & Hula” game sponsored by The Digital Architects. Other auction items include a range from wine bottles and gift certificates to retail items and sports and entertainment tickets and packages. Gunston would like to thank all of the local businesses that either purchased ads or generously donated items and certificates. This fundraiser would not be possible without the community’s support.
Visit www.gunston.org/soiree for more information, to purchase tickets, and to make a donation. Auction items will be posted online the week of the event. If you are unable to attend and would like information on proxy bidding, please contact Gunston’s Director of Communications Meredith Nosher at 410.758.0620 x109. We look forward to seeing you on March 2nd!
