Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a highway contract worker last week on eastbound Route 50 at Bay Dale Drive in Anne Arundel County. Fifty-two-year-old Ghassen A. Sabra was struck by a vehicle, thrown into oncoming traffic and hit again by a tractor trailer. Sabra died at the scene. Maryland State Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
