Holness Convicted on Lesser Charge

It is a case that rocked the Eastern Shore. Ryan Holness called police in June of 2009 and claimed he and his wife were carjacked and taken to Kent County where his wife was killed. Soon after, police charged Holness with murdering his wife and trying to cover it up. Last week, Holness was convicted in federal court of the lesser charge of interstate domestic violence; he will be sentenced in June. Holness could get life in prison. Ryan Holness was a Navy air traffic controller stationed at Pax River who had a $500,000 life insurance policy on his wife.
