Hospice of Queen Anne’s is offering two, ten-week grief support groups for adults beginning on March 28 and continuing through May 30 for those who are struggling with the loss of a loved one. Participants may choose an afternoon group or an evening group both held on Wednesdays at the Hospice Center in Centreville.
Led by trained and caring grief counselors, group members learn to identify normal grief reactions and how to manage grief while building lasting relationships with other group members.
For parents who have lost a child to death, Hospice of Queen Anne’s is offering a special Bereaved Parent Support Group beginning on April 23 and continuing through June 18. The group will meet on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. at the Hospice Center.
HQA’s grief support groups are free of charge to anyone in the community in need of encouragement and support. The groups meet at Hospice of Queen Anne’s located at 255 Comet Drive in Centreville. All groups require pre-registration. Please contact Rhonda Knotts, 443-262-4109 or email@example.com pre-register.
