Island Bay Day Rocks The Shore October 15, 2011

“Island Bay Day”, now in its fifth year, Rocks The Shore as a large scale charity music festival right on Kent Island that will be held on Saturday October 15th. The festival features top music acts performing on multiple stages (the BEST that Maryland has to offer!) as well as vendors, great food, kids entertainment, beverages, games, and much more.

Tickets are on sale now and are still at the discounted rate of $20. To purchase go to: www.islandbayday.com

We are still looking for a few items to help out this year, if you are interested let us know!

We are still in need of a trash service, volunteers in every area to help out before, during and after.

Most importantly we are looking for those interested in sponsorship opportunities.

We have a slew of options available for your sponsorship dollars: loads of advertising, free tickets and more! This is a great opportunity for a business to be exposed to thousands of people across multiple media platforms for a fraction of what it would normally cost. We are part of “Kent Island Online.com” and “Centrevillemaryland.us”, the most viewed area resources in the Mid-Shore area and included with sponsorships are prominent ads on all of our websites and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace) websites that altogether reach well over 40,000 people a month! We also are offering exposure on our radio ads that will run on 98 Rock, WCEI, WINX, and WRNR. This gives solid radio exposure locally as well as in Baltimore, Annapolis, Easton, Chestertown, and beyond. Total penetration is over 500,000 people a month!

Island Bay Day is more than just a single day festival. We bring top level artists to the area all year long, which means that your sponsorship is presented to the public for a long period of time.

Become a sponsor of Island Bay Day and have your name associated with a festival that helps our local community, all proceeds of the event go right back to our own via the Kent Island American Legion. You might not realize it but, K.I.A.L. supports Queen Anne county residents and the surrounding areas by putting millions of dollars back into our community organizations struggling in this slow economy via donations and scholarships. Their members work tirelessly to help many groups and individuals not only here at home but also to support our veterans who have served so bravely to protect our freedoms. K.I.A.L. Post 278 is voted year after year the top Legion in the state for community service and we are proud to call ourselves a partner of theirs!
