The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff and Doc’s Riverside Grille will host a “Jail N’ Bail” to raise money for Maryland Special Olympics. On Monday, January 11, 2010 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm Doc’s Riverside Grill will feature this event having our special guests arrested and held for bail. All donations will benefit this year’s Polar Bear Plunge/Maryland Special Olympics. Doc’s Jail N’ Bail involves a mock jail with upstanding citizens arrested by Keystone Cops who go before a Judge and then spend time in jail until their bail has been donated by their friends or lack there of. This fun filled event begins with someone filing out a charge against their boss, spouse, co-worker or friend. Our Keystone Cops will escort these nominated jailbirds to jail. Jailbirds shall be released upon raising their bond amount as determined by the Judge. Jailbirds can also be arrested as a team. Local businesses will have information and nomination forms available. Just ask the store for your packet. For more information or to volunteer: contact Terry Ober or Bo Oristian. Sheriff Hofmann, Kelly Armstrong, Chinnadurai Devad, Lt. Dwayne Embert, Captain James Williams, Bo Oristian, County Commissioners and Terry Ober are among many that will be rounded up by our Keystone Cops. Doc’s Riverside Grille, 511 Chesterfield Avenue, Centreville, Md. 21617.
