Evergreen Cove will offer a day-long jewelry making workshop with teaching artist Sue Stockman on Saturday, October 2 from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The class will explore the basics of jewelry making by using silver and copper wire, beads, personal mementos and other found objects to create earrings, pins, bracelets and necklaces. The techniques taught can easily be done at home with a minimal investment in tools and material. Tuition for “Wire Jewelry with Sue Stockman” is $120 and includes enough materials to create a pair of earrings or a pendant. Additional materials will be available for sale and participants are encouraged to bring their own. Financial aid and sliding scale tuition options are available for this program.
